A Poem in Memory of Rabbi Lipa Dubrawsky (Z"L) (For the Dubrawsky family from David J. Litvak)
One foot on the ground And a soul that reached the sky Teaching Kabbalah With a twinkle in his eye
Always holy But never holier than thou A man of his word Who never broke a vow
His kabbalistic insights Could inspire you for days And he could see inside your soul With his penetrating gaze
He was a Torah scholar But he was as humble as can be For he was a disciple Of the Lubavitcher Rebbe
Finding holy sparks In every living being Bringing Talmud to life And making Torah sing
Inspiring all he met With everything he did He was a shining soul One very special Yid
His words could transform Darkness into light And without his holy presence The world is not as bright
