Dearest Dena and Family,
We are bereft of words and are constantly thinking of all of you. This is a Tsunami that has hit our community. I cannot imagine life in Vancouver without seeing our Dearest most special Rabbi on his way to do the myriad Mitzvot that he performed daily. He and I connected on Shabbes mornings at The Louis Brier. He always lingered to enquire about how my life was and whether he could assist us. The kindest Mentsh and Tzaddik. My children and myself are devastated for you and for the loss of a Tzaddik who so loved the Torah and lovingly and respectfully adhered to its commands. All we can do is reach out to community members in a loving and kind way-therefore trying to emulate his kindness. We are here and if there is anything at all that we can do to be of assistance to you, please please let us know. Dena, thank you so very much for always inviting us over . Eli and I will forever cherish the Shabbat lunch we shared at your house about 6 weeks ago. With much love to all your children and their families. Love Phillipa, Aaron and Eli Friedland
Vancouver B.C.
