No Greater Love

                No Greater Love

My dearest, Dena. I have been considering these past few days what to say to you. There really are no words.
I have been reading all the heartfelt comments of the myriad people that were blessed to have their lives touched by Lipa. We are part of those privileged people.
I just want to tell you how amazing you are and how amazing your husband thought you were. Before I was married, as a single girl attending Lipa's shiurim, I remember something your husband said to a participant of his class. Although I no longer remember the topic of the actual class I do remember an answer that Lipa gave someone. Somehow the topic of the class turned to the prayer "A Woman of Valor" (eishit chayol).
A young man asked your husband with derision in his voice,
"Come on, Rabbi! There's no such thing as as a REAL woman of valor today."
"Of course there is." answered the rabbi.
"How? Is your wife an eishit chayol (woman of valor)?" He asked incredulously.
Without any hesitation and complete conviction your Lipa looked him directly in the eye and simply answered,
"Yes, she is. She is an eishit chayol."
I know it is a small memory, and certainly only one of a great many I have, but I feel it is the first strong memory I have of him- his love and respect for you.
His greatness is yours, Dena. Lipa knew that all he could do depended on your selfless effort and dedication to him.
Thank you for sharing your greatest love with all of us.
With love, tears and a heartfelt prayer that you will be reunited with your Lipa in the imminent redemption (may it happen IMMEDIATELY).
