Dear Dena, Sendy, Subie, Aidie, Chanchy, Mushky, Meir, Rivky, Mendy, Manya and Shaina ( tichyu) ,
There are absolutely no words to express the emptiness that both Ilan and I feel at the sudden and tragic passing of Rabbi Dubrawsky Z"L.
We cannot even begin to imagine what you are each going through and the strength that you are going to be forced to gather to deal with your loss.
Vancouver will never be the same. Rabbi Dubrawsky was humble, respectful, dedicated, loving, attentive, inspiring, educated, understanding, unassuming, giving, caring... And the list goes on.
The thought of us not seeing him, nor being able to ask advice or receive advice; sage advice, is too much to handle.
The Torah he shared with us, the Rebbe stories will remain with us forever.
I always said that Rabbi Dubrawsky had an uncanny resemblance to the Lubavitcher Rebbe, whom I was fortunate to have met many times in my youth. It therefore makes sense that the void and emptiness I feel at his passing is similar to what I felt when the Rebbe passed away.
May his Torah live on in all of those whom he inspired. May all of their mitzvoth be merits for an Aliya to his neshama and may we, Klal Yisrael merit to see the coming of Moshiach bimhera b'yameinu amen.
Hamakom Yinachem Etchem B'toch Shaar Avelei Zion V'Yerushalayim. Min Hashamayim Tenuchamu. May you know no more sorrow.
Ilan, myself and our children are here for you in support.
Dina Acoca
