Dear Dena and the Family,

Our heartfelt prayers are with all of you.

Rabbi Dubrawsky has been our  guide and mentor,  signposting the way at every significant step of our  family’s Jewish journey thus far.  He was there to put up and bless the Mezuzot on our first home,  and I can never forget the image of him -  tall, humble and kindly -  patiently working to kosher our little kitchen.   Friday nights in your home were like no other nights we have ever experienced.   We  learned so much from the stories and wisdom Rabbi Dubrawsky shared with us and felt the powerful warmth of Shabbat that your family creates.

In the days after losing Rabbi Dubrawsky,  we struggled to make sense of why Hashem would take someone who was so loved and needed in our community when he had so many more years ahead of him. Georgia found a way to explain it to us.    She told us that Rabbi Dubrawsky’s soul was too holy for this world.    Casey said that Rabbi Dubrawsky will still be watching over us.

If there is anything we can do to help you – big or small – please call on us.

With so much love,   Andy, Nolan, Georgia and Casey Krombein and Granny Maureen.
